Renewal Book Club
On the second Wednesday of each month, the Renewal Book Club meets to discuss a book and enjoy a meal at the homes of participants.  The lunch group meets at 11 am. and the dinner group meets at 6pm.  Many of the books selected are from the Reading for Renewal Book List published yearly by the Florida UCC Women. Check the HOME page for information on the book(s) for the month.

Small Group Ministry
In addition to regularly scheduled Book Club meetings, Meditation classes, and Bible studies, many of our members participate in small groups to have fellowship and progress on their faith journeys.  One of the popular groups is made up of members who have completed the Reality Theology classes developed and facilitated by Rev. and Mrs. Karl Hilgert.  The group meets on the second Tuesday of each month for a potluck meal and to talk about Bible stories, music, films, or people that shape their beliefs and impact their lives.  Other groups are developing out of the Becoming Small Group Leaders class, which is conducted by Dr. Mory and Carol Lewis.

Centering Prayer and Recovery  

The Centering Prayer and Recovery group meets on Mondays at 7 – 8:30pm in the parlor. The group begins with a reading and 20 minutes of silent centering prayer followed by time for members to check in briefly about their meditation or the reading. Afterwards, we have audio or video instruction about meditation or spirituality and discussion.
